Hi! My name is Jordan.

I originally started my studies with an interest in human biology, but as my knowledge grew I started to become more interested in plants and fungi. Join me as I dive into the world of botany. From identifying different genera of plants to understanding the symbiotic and parasitic relationships between the vast species we share our world with.

COAT OF ARMS

My Symbol (top left)

The symbol shown here is a music note that is also a tree, or at least it’s supposed to resemble that (I study biology, not art). I chose this piece of interpretive art because both music and nature are important interests of mine.

My motto (top right)

“Leave the world better than you found it.” There are many ways to make the world a better place. So rather than the grandiose idea of changing the whole world, I try to be constructive in my day-to-day life. At the end of my time here I’d like to say I made things a little bit better for the people here.

My hometown (bottom left)

I grew up around Cleveland, OH exploring the many state parks in that area.

My major (bottom right)

I am currently in my last year of getting a biology degree. Figuring out the complexity of how life sustains itself has always been an interest of mine.
